| This was a commission piece for the Orange County Museum of Art. I was interested in making a piece that responded to the George Nelson benches that this, and many other museums use as gallery seating. I made my own version within sight of two of the original benches. By making my version unusable, the piece became a surrogate for the viewer. | ||
